HI, i'm SARAH
HI, i'm SARAH
Yoga helped me through some of the toughest chapters of my life,
and also taught me to enjoy the easier times way more fully…
which is why i’m so passionate about sharing it.
After growing up in newcastle, i studied landscape architecture at university, COMBINING a love of cities, design and the natural world.
Around the time i graduated, i EXPERIENCED a huge, unexpected family loss. I spent three mind-bending years journeying through the resulting grief, while working full time in the london architecture world. my local yoga studio became a lifeline.
movement was no stranger to me, but yoga felt so different.
i didn’t just feel good after yoga, i felt changed. somehow more grounded, more grateful and more able to navigate the chaos of life.
In 2021, my growing curiosity finally beat me and I enrolled in my first yoga teacher training course. Diving deeply into a practice that had supported me so steadily for years was EXHILARATING and surprising. I had no idea how much i would adore sharing the practice with others.
In 2022, i moved to Edinburgh to study a masters. i fell in love with the city and began experimenting with new ways to weave together my yoga and creative practices.
in the past couple of years, i’ve continued to explore and follow these connections. designing urban spaces, creating art, writing, and studying and sharing yoga across india, sri lanka and most recently Morocco.
after almost a year teaching yoga full-time in morocco, I’m now back in edinburgh and more passionate than ever about offering yoga that is accessible, uplifting and community-focused.
i firmly believe that yoga can be for everyone and creativity is woven into in all of us.
join me to explore how yoga can create space for you to be more at ease in yourself.

WHat actually is yoga?
the word ‘yoga’ comes from the Sanskrit root “yuj”
meaning to yoke or unite…
simply put, it’s a way to connect more deeply to yourself, others and the wider world around you.
in the ancient yoga texts, this connection is said to lead us back to our ‘true self’. the part of us that is somehow more constant and steady than the ever-changing layers of our mind, ego and emotions.
regularly finding this inner steadiness, gradually makes it more and more accessible.
in a yoga class with me, you can choose to move your body, breath and mind in a way that brings you a sense of this connection.
like anything, it might feel strange at first but with time, you may be surprised to realise how much strength and spaciousness you already have within you.
we live in a fast, stressful and disconnected world; your yoga practice can be a quiet revolution against that.
